Eachine Wizard X220 Possibly the Best of Eachine

Eachine announced two weeks ago his new drone racing Eachine Wizard 220 which will possibly be one of the best in the company so far. The last drone Eachine I tried that I loved was the Eachine fly Falcon 250. After this other models like the Falcon 210, the Assasin 180 and Falcon 180 which it offered nothing special was launched, but this changed with the Wizard introduction of the X220. The Wizard belongs to another category and it shows not only in design but in the way they fly too.

Definitely Wizard X220 design is a design that have popularized other drones career as QAV-R Luminier, the Alien and the Martians, so all the Wizard is more like QAV-R would say. One of the most prominent design features is the way the four arms of the drone are secured to the rest of the chassis. This feature allows us to replace them quickly in case of failure. In addition, the arms are very thick with a thickness of 4mm.

Drone weight without battery, or propellers appears to be about 335g. On both sides of the drone we find two sheets of carbon fiber. The plate on the front has three starts and holds the FPV camera. In total there are three starts, so we can place the camera in three positions.

Fiber boards largest coal on the back, are supposed to protect the internal components of the drone, but in reality these are a problem when access the internal components of the drone. For this reason, and the fact that in reality these do not provide any structural support to the chassis, I opted for removal.

The station Flysky FS-i6 has become famous for its low price. Is the station we see in most racing drones inexpensive and also in other drones with GPS and others. The Wizard X220 should come in the version that will be released to the market with 3 flight modes, which can be accessed through the SWC switch located on the right side of the station.

Something immediately highlighted in the Eachine Wizard X220 are the engines and propellers. Although engines are 2300KV, with size 2204, these are very different from previous engines Eachine used. These engines are lighter note, 25g and different design. The sound produced gives the feeling that almost do not make effort. Also, these engines come with different nuts similar to those used by the pros. The propellers are 5 inches and three pallets, they have a good finish, although they are somewhat thinner than that Eachine bullnose used previously.

One of the great advantages of Wizard X220, is the fact that it comes equipped with ESC, or electronic controllers well light speed which bring one of the most recent firmware, called BLHeli_S, which will allow the drone to respond much faster and precisely commands as acceleration and other improvements that contribute to a better flying experience.
