The Hubsan company known for its mini drones FPV or pilot immersion such as Hubsan H107C and H107D just released his new creation the drone Hubsan H501S. This is much larger than the H107C, but not as big as the older brother of the family of drones Hubsan which is called Hubsan Pro X4. Hubsan always been known much for their original designs. The drone H501S X4 largely retains the design line of previous models. The finish of the drone body is impeccable; made of white plastic and with gold accents. Although the drone lacks an undercarriage, this has under each arm a kind of gums serve as buffers.
In addition, each arm is equipped with LED lights which make it easy to distinguish the front from the back during flights in the evening. Finally, the Hubsan H501S is a little gem as to what design is concerned.
Hubsan something that could improve for the next is the design of the battery. I think that the battery should be used in this drone is what we can find in drones as DJI Phantom of the Cheerson CX22, UpAir, etc. This type of battery is very easy to remove and put and it often comes with LED lights that indicate the load of this.
The engines are equipped with 7.3-inch propellers. These are made of a rather flexible and soft plastic possibly can withstand certain impacts without breaking. With this drone should come 8 propellers, 4 to use and 4 parts, but for some reason I only got 6. All propellers are marked with letters A or B to easily identify that engine belonging and also has a diagram showing in what direction these revolve.
The Hubsan H501S X4 comes equipped with a full HD camera, which is connected to a video transmitter. Thus, the drone can send a signal to our comptroller live and so we can see just what the drone is watching and fly it across the screen. Still I do not know what is the quality of the video of this camera as this we will see the second part of the analysis.
