The Review of JJRC H12C

Chinese quadcopters models sometimes look a little similar, so that it is difficult to distinguish from each other, especially the same series ones. For example, the JJRC H12W and the JJRC H12C. This test will share you something about the later.

That's at least one way to stand out from the competition, metallic orange color is not widespread. The unit is of medium size: 17.5 x 17.5 cm (excluding propellers) for a height of 9 cm. The structure is made of plastic, it seems rather resistant. Aside from the camera's power wire, all the electronics and all wiring are well hidden. Single crowns and small brushed motors pinions are apparent, under cages motors. The propellers are fairly standard, with a diameter of 13.5 cm. There are diodes in each arm, two red at the rear, two blue front. Over a blue diode behind a large different in the front, which gives an air of drone H12C.

Turn on the radio, turn on the switch by operating H12C: the LEDs flash. You have to push the joystick background gas then lower it to make contact with the radio. The diodes pass fixed: you are ready to take off. Dsc_0162-600Il just push a little gas for the unit off ... Well vertically, with minimal drift, and especially by showing a very reassuring stability. Hovering is easy to maintain, it takes very little correction to achieve it. The trims are used to reduce drift well. The device responds well to stress, but it is slow, very slow. Is this a final concern? Not at all ! He just set and the first takeoff. Beginners can take control stress: they are sufficiently soft to be trusted, especially as the presence of propellers protections avoids crashes the first flights.

We saw the H12C is quite slow. But there is a way to give it a bit of a boost. You must press the front wheel: one beep indicates that the device is in the sensitivity setting mode, indicated by a percentage. Dsc_0195-600Faites turn the wheel to increase the number. The higher it is, the more will be nervous H12C. Again press the dial to confirm the setting. In practice, the device actually becomes faster, but it does not change as long as uncontrollable missile. It takes speed, but not much. Just enough for beginners to progress. And that the videos filmed on board remain watchable, avoiding epileptic flights ... Note that the dial on our radio was difficult to turn, perhaps a little flu or badly chipped. The results are very positive: the H12C theft appears very healthy, very pleasant, no surprises. Another positive point: we piloted the H12C up at least 70 meters without losing the radio link - this is the view that is problematic at this distance. Not bad.

If you like this brand drone, I suggest you to choose the JJRC H11D, which is one of the pretty good JJRC drones.
